Hello! It's been long since my last update. Anyways, now that it is my holidays I hope that I can update more frequently. So here's my first update after a long while.
Met up with a few of my friends for catchup yesterday and we had lunch at Tanuki Raw. I was rather excited because I have been seeing their donburi on Instagram lately. Ordered the Salmon Kaisen and added $2 to upgrade for a set meal which included a Miso Soup, Green Salad and Green Tea. Total cost for my set meal was $12++ as they are currently having a lunch promo from Monday to Thursday at the Orchard Central branch. This is how my meal looked like:

Review:
It was a satisfying meal. Salad was a typical kind of salad, just vegetable and sauce, nothing very special in my opinion. But the main thing was the donburi. Their signature mix rice was tasty and I REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKED THE JAP SPRINKLES ON THE RICE. The salmon was fresh also.
I would say that the donburi is worth it for the price. My friend ordered the California Roll, I didn't take a photo of it but it was the sushi kinda style and portion wise it was quite small. I would say it would be good for a light meal but not if you want a full meal though it might be a little pricey.
On to the ambience, well it was quite good, we sat in the open area and the ventilation was quite okay and they played nice music HAHA xD As for the utensils, I was a little disappointed as our table was running short of things like plates and spoons and there was no water unlike other tables. But we asked from the staff and they were fast to respond, so I must say the service was quite good.
Overall, I would give it a 3.5/5 and conclude that it is worth a try if you want a little treat for yourself.
